When it comes to indoor bike trainers, the most frequently asked question is: how quiet is it? Taking this to heart, the Saris team, based in Madison, Wisconsin, put this query under the microscope and set goal to build a trainer so quiet, that the only sound is that of your drive train. The result? A direct drive smart trainer that touts a sound specification of 59 decibels at 20 mph. In other words, the H3 is five times quieter than previous generations, making it the quietest smart trainer we have ever seen.
Following the Saris direct drive smart trainer legacy, the H3 features the same reliability and durability as its predecessors. Each H3 is made from cast and machined aluminum sourced from America’s heartland. Encased inside are components meticulously calibrated to measure power, speed and cadence, as well as a precision-balanced flywheel - all built to handle 2000 watts and replicate a 20% climbing grade. Tested to withstand heavy training, the H3’s internal cooling system will keep the electromagnetic resistance system working – and accurate – long after your legs have given out.

DIRECT DRIVE HIRE FAQ
1. Do I need a cassette?
It is ideal to use your own cassette on a turbo from your own bike - so everything matches up.
However, this requires removing the cassette and re-installing from your bike each time your want to use it outdoors and so you may wish to purchase an additional cassette which is permanently fitted to the turbo trainer instead.

2. How do you install / remove your cassette onto a direct drive turbo trainer?

Please note, if you have an 8-10 speed cassette you will need to fit a spacer onto the Turbo Trainer first before sliding the cassette on.
3. Tell me more about your Cassette and Tool Purchase Option?
We offer cassettes to purchase and also the cassette installation tools.
The cassette installation tools include a Cassette Wrench and Chain Whip Tool which are the 2 essential tools needed to install/remove your cassette onto a direct drive turbo
The cassettes we offer to purchase are either Sunrace, SRAM or Shimano. We have a varied selection from 8 speed to 11 speed cassettes.

4. Which rear wheel axle end caps do you fit? Quick release or Thru Axle?
As standard we fit Quick Release axle end caps to the turbo trainer. If you require thru axle end caps then we will supply these as parts for you to replace the Quick Release end caps
How It Works
- Select your product.
- Select your hire duration.
- Select your hire start date. The hire start date is the date you wish to receive your delivery. (If you would like a date which is blocked out in the booking calendar, then drop us as email with your required delivery date and we will see what we can do.)
- Place your order!
- Once you have placed your order you will receive an email order confirmation.
- We will then arrange a delivery and you will receive delivery tracking details via text and email.
- We will stay in touch throughout your hire period with all return instructions.
Our hire equipment:
- Tools & memberships are NOT included in the hire.
- Our hire equipment is sent out from our serviced and maintained pool of hire equipment.
- All equipment is fully cleaned before being sent out.
- Compatibility – will it fit my bike, car etc? Customers are responsible for checking the hire item will be compatible. However, we do our best to help to work with you on this and so please contact us to discuss if you are not sure on compatibility.
- Please complete the booking info boxes with as much detail as you can as we will review the info you supply to help ensure compatibility.
- We will contact you if we think you require any extra adapters or parts etc .
How do we deliver?
- We deliver using DPD, Royal Mail and other courier services. Once your order has been dispatched you will receive delivery tracking details via text and email.
- The delivery will arrive and include all return instructions.
- Please hold onto the original packaging which we deliver your hire equipment ready for your return.
- Please hold onto any information slips that come in your original box as you will need these for your return.

What happens after the hire?
When the time comes, here’s what to do after your hire. You have the option to return, extend or purchase the hire item:
1. RETURN
If you have already paid for a return collection, all you need to do is complete the return form on our website: Collection Form - Pre paid – Turbo Trainer Hire
If you are yet to pay for a return collection, please book and make payment for your collection through our website: Collection Form - Payment due – Turbo Trainer Hire

2. HIRE EXTENSION
If you would like to keep the item for longer, please book a hire extension through our website Hire Extension Options – Turbo Trainer Hire
You will need to select your hire item and how long you would like your hire extension for. Please ensure you book your hire extension as soon as you can to help us plan our stock availability.
3. PURCHASE ‘the ultimate try before you buy’
