Our Guide to Evoc Bike Travel Bags

Here at Turbo Trainer Hire we recently started hiring Evoc Bike Bags. We soon discovered there wasn't much information about the bags themselves online and so we have created our guide to the Evoc bags answering many of your frequently asked questions!

Which bag is right for you?

Ready for all of your trips by plane, car, train or boat in just minutes—and for most bikes only the handlebar, pedals, and wheels need to be removed for travel. To establish which EVOC BIKE TRAVEL BAG your bike can be transported in, you need to measure the wheel base of your bike and compare this with the Max Wheelbase.

How to measure your wheelbase:

The bike wheelbase can be measured as the distance between the axles of the two wheels of the bike.

You can "shorten" your bike by dismantling the derailleur, if necessary. They all come with external, separate wheel compartments with disc protection and are suitable and fit 29 inches Mountain Bikes.

2. BIKE TRAVEL BAG PRO                                    
   
                       

The Evoc Bike Bag Pro is the largest bike bag and comes with a bike stand to help you easily put your bike back together and break down at the end of your trip. Fits most: cross country-, all mountain-, enduro-, freeride-, downhill- bikes up to 29“, gravel-, road-, and triathlon-bikes

• Maximum wheelbase of 130 cm
• Bike stand, clip on wheel 2.0 and frame pad
• Volume 310l, weight 10kg (including bike stand)
• Outside dimensions - 147 cm x 36 cm x 85 cm
• Inside dimensions - 136 cm x 27 cm x 80 cm

3. BIKE TRAVEL BAG XL                                      
   
                                                             

The Evoc Bike Bag XL is wider and therefore has more volume. In return, it is shorter in length, as the bag would otherwise be too big for air travel. Maximum wheelbase for this bag is 125 cm incl. handlebar and fork protection block (130 cm without handlebar and fork protection block) This bag is suitable for Fat Bikes.
